As the Branch Manager of our Leipzig location, I am responsible for the company’s transaction activities in the capital of Saxony. I also handle all staff management activities, the letting of office, industrial and retail spaces and sales of these properties to institutional and retail investors. Our Leipzig branch additionally has its own Residential Investment Team.

Project highlights

• Relocating the headquarters of the Mercateo Group from Munich to Leipzig Completing a construction project for a new building offering approx. 10,000 m² of office space in exclusive cooperation with the company OFB Projektentwicklung GmbH
• Sale of Leipzig University of Telecommunications (HfTL) to the Free State of Saxony for the expansion of Leipzig University of Applied Science (HTWK Leipzig) in the third quarter of 2017 – involving negotiations over a ten-month period
• Sale of the office tower at Humboldtstrasse 25 to the Sparkasse Leipzig bank – including letting 6,000 m² of office space to the railway company Deutsche Bahn
• Sale of the Technical Town Hall in Leipzig, with 45,000 m² of office space to TLG by the UniCredit bank
• Restructuring the Leipzig Transport Authority (LVB) from 23 different office locations in Leipzig to a central building at Georgiring 1–3, with approx. 10,000 m² of office space; subsequent sale of the property to a Dutch investor
